HOBOnet Soil Moisture Sensor - RXW-SMD
This sensor measures a 1 liter volume of soil to take measurements over a larger volume, helping to average out any soil variability and is designed to work with HOBOnet wireless sensors.
HOBOnet sensors communicate data directly to the RX3000, RX2015 or RX2106 stations and transmit data via other sensors to the central station.
Open field operation; powered by 2 AA 1.2V NiMH rechargeable batteries, powered by an integrated solar panel or by 2 AA 1.5V lithium batteries for a life of one year with typical use.
